2012

Christy began composing music, lyrics, and vocal melodies, performing improvisational vocals with a video art piece titled "All the Joy Desire and Rage" at SUGAR Gallery.

2013

Under the name "Neoray" at SUGAR Gallery, Christy began writing lyrics/vocals and performed with musicians Chris Olivo, Slow Cities (keys/electronics), Nicholas Olivo (guitar) and Alexander Rea (percussion). This performance was in conjunction with the exhibition "Line Up Round II." Neoray combined the austere vocals of Ms. Singleton and eclectic electronic layers to create songs about imagined characters of Brooklyn and Manhattan, absurdest lust, supernatural menage a trios and aristocratic space travelers. Projected video accompanied the group in parallel with the rapturous sounds.

Later, she performed another improvisational piece with video at Gallery MC in conjunction with the traveling exhibition "Sweet Songs of Conviction," as well as Brooklyn Fireproof (Now Brooklyn Fireproof Creative) and music venues around Brooklyn.
